La del manojo de rosas

LA DEL MANOJO DE ROSAS tells the story of the class struggle between the working class and the upper class. It explores the difficulties a flower girl faces in belonging to a social class that doesn’t belong to her, despite being an educated and cultured woman, yet still a worker—a status frowned upon at the time. The story unfolds during the Second Republic, a period of social upheaval reflected in the text. The music, for its part, incorporates new rhythms, such as the foxtrot, resulting in a nuanced score, rich in color and emotion.
