The Mad History of the Golden Age traces the history of Spain during those nearly two centuries, in a journey where comedians present us with different characters and stories, the instincts of men in their quest for power, wealth, or social advancement, touching on still-current topics such as wars, the ostracism of women, and how to survive in a society dominated by personal ambition. The portrait of a Spain full of lights and shadows, kings, painters, playwrights, clergy, rogues, and comedians who portray the events that occurred during this century, narrating the adventures, misadventures, and misadventures of a society guided by the designs of God and Kings.
