Los cuernos de Don Friolera

At a time of literary prominence, Ramón María del Valle-Inclán conceived the trilogy Mardi Gras. It includes the play The Horns of Don Friolera, in which the protagonist, a soldier, spirals into madness upon receiving an anonymous text containing unfounded information about his wife. Lieutenant Friolera, unable to handle the hoax, is drawn into a coven of jealousy and outdated honor, cornered by bizarre but also immensely human beings. A show that allows itself to be seduced by the creative freedom, hilarious transgressive fun, metatheatricality, the desire for regeneration, and the intense, bitter, and even painful critical attitude of one of the most important authors of the 20th century.
