Parejas imperfectas
Edu, an unemployed truck driver, and Ana, his ex-wife, reconnect after an accident leaves her quadriplegic. Juan, a doctoral student with cerebral palsy, hires Yanis, a university student and daughter of Serbian-Croatian immigrants facing financial hardship, as his assistant. Both will challenge our perceptions of people with physical disabilities and explore how class, race, nationality, or wealth can create chasms between people, even when they yearn for connection.
