“Resonando en el pasado” It’s a journey through the history of humanity by way of musical instruments. Abraham Cupeiro guides us on this journey, drawing from his enormous collection of ancient instruments. He does so with great passion and the pedagogical skill of someone who knows instruments inside and out. Indeed, Abraham Cupeiro himself built some of his instruments, such as the Karnyx and the Cornu, reconstructed from examples found in Pompeii. “Resonando en el pasado” is neither a concert nor a monologue, but by combining the elements of musician and storyteller, he creates a fascinating performance in which we discover a little more about humankind through the music created throughout the centuries.
