La Bohème
The action takes place in Paris, in the Latin Quarter around 1830, and describes the precarious and tumultuous love affairs of the “bohemian” Rodolfo and Mimi, Marcello and Musetta. Four friends share their lives in a mansard where it is cold and hungry … . The poet Rodolfo, the painter Marcello, the musician Schaunard and the philosopher Colline confront the vagaries of the modest seamstress Mimi and the scandalous singer Musetta.
