The Four Seasons choreographed by Ilia Jivoy, considered one of the best young choreographers from the Mariínsky Theatre in St. Petersburg. In 2012, the German-born British producer, pianist and composer Max Richter released the album Recomposed by Max Richter – Vivaldi – The Four Seasons. This work, by one of the current benchmarks of classical and minimalist music, captivated the choreographer, Ilia Jivoy, and inspired him to create this choreography for 16 dancers. Ilia Jivoy has received the “Hope of Russia” award, and is considered one of the best young choreographers of his generation.
