Otello
Otello opera in four acts with music by Giuseppe Verdi and a libretto in Italian by Arrigo Boito, based on Shakespeare’s play Othello, the Moor of Venice. It was Verdi’s penultimate opera, premiered at the La Scala Theater in Milan on February 5, 1887.
