“A Meeting with the Blues” presents Chicago artist Sheryl Youngblood at this year’s Alicante Blues Festival. A powerful singer, drummer, songwriter, bandleader, and Blues, Gospel, and Soul artist, she is a regular on the Chicago Blues scene. Winner of a Gospel Grammy Award, a Jus’ Blues Foundation Lifetime Achievement Award, and a member of the Chicago Blues Hall of Fame, she will be accompanied by a highly experienced international band.- Vocals and Drums: Sheryl Youngblood
