Tribulto is a stark comedy. A story of losers and dignity. A nonsense made with a lot of love.

Three musical professionals “decide” to get together to produce, direct and perform: THE ULTIMATE TRIBUTE TO THE MUSICALS IN YOUR LIFE. E.T.D.D.A.L.L.M.D.T.V. A last desperate leap into the void of a generation of artists who have been run over by the “new normal” like a steamroller. Although before the pandemic, they were not nominated to the MAX… or to those musical awards that are given in Spain and nobody remembers the name… In short, three extras, some even with a phrase, who have been subsisting throughout their professional life. Their love of art is the only thing that helps them get up every morning, but it doesn’t pay the bills.

Three extras with phrases. Three professionals from here, who have earned their living with dignity and effort and have never been close to success or fame, like so many citizens of this world who do not see their work goals fulfilled. Three human beings that could be us. They are much closer to being us than Rafa Nadal or Penelope Cruz. But we refuse to recognize ourselves because we feel better, superior. Deluded.

This function talks a little bit about putting ourselves in the other’s shoes, our equal without considering ourselves better. Without considering them failures. There is no such thing as failure, it’s the parents.
